Back in 2012, I took advantage of the time between college graduation and starting full-time work at Apple to learn web development through Bloc's online bootcamp. Learning to program can be a slow, frustrating process, so we were encouraged to pick a personal project to build throughout the program that we really cared about.
I conceptualized and prototyped a project called "The Domino Experiment." The platform would track random acts of kindness almost like a chain email, so people could see the "ripple" effect their good deeds were doing in the world. More detail below:
